How to get price-drop refunds on Temu

Temu’s prices move constantly. If something you bought gets cheaper soon after, Temu often lets you claim the difference back — but only for a short window, and most shoppers never check. Here’s how it works and how to stop leaving that money on the table.

What a price adjustment is

A price adjustment (or “price-drop refund”) is Temu refunding you the difference when an item you already bought drops in price shortly afterwards. You don’t return anything — you keep the item and get part of your money back, usually as store credit or to your original payment method.

The window is the whole game

The catch: price adjustments are only available for a limited period after purchase. Miss the window and the price can keep falling without you being able to claim anything. Because the window is short and Temu doesn’t remind you, the opportunity quietly expires for almost everyone.

Two clocks are ticking: the item has to actually be cheaper now and you have to still be inside the adjustment window. You need both at the same moment — which is exactly why catching it by hand is so hard.

How to claim, step by step

Why this is hard to do by hand

To catch every drop, you’d have to re-check the price of everything you’ve recently bought, every day, and cross-reference each against its own expiry window. Nobody does that. So the refunds that are genuinely owed mostly go unclaimed.

How Temu+ Pro helps

This is the exact job Pro’s price tracking & drop alerts are built for. You pick items — from your orders or your imported Temu wishlist — and Temu+ watches each one’s price over time on a trajectory chart. When something drops while it’s still inside the adjustment window, you’re alerted, with an estimate of the refund, so you can act before the window closes.

The honest caveat: the refund amount Temu+ shows is an estimate. Temu makes the final call on every price-adjustment request, and a refund is never guaranteed. We surface the opportunity and the math — the decision is between you and Temu. (This feature is currently in Beta.)

Is it worth it?

For anyone who buys regularly, a single successful adjustment can cover Pro’s €5/year several times over. The value isn’t magic — it’s simply not missing money you were already entitled to ask for.

Stop missing refund windows

Pro tracks your items and alerts you while a drop is still claimable.
